Write a letter into the dark.
Be heard by morning.
Some things are easier to say to a stranger. Wren is a quiet place to write down the thing you can’t say out loud — anonymously — and send it into the night. By the next morning, a real person has read it, and written back.
Before we go public
Help us test it first.
Wren is finished, and now it needs real people using it quietly for a couple of weeks before it opens to everyone. If that sounds like something you’d want to be part of, leave the email address you use for the Google Play Store and we’ll send you a link to install it.
Answered by breakfast.
How it works
Quiet by design.
Write, anonymously
One letter a day, from a name picked at random. No email, no password, nothing that traces back to you.
Send it into the night
Delivered overnight to a few strangers, at the quiet hour you choose. Nothing pings, nothing updates — you can put the phone down.
Be heard by morning
You’re guaranteed a reply — from a real person, or a clearly labeled gentle note if no one answers in time.
A look inside
Quiet, on purpose.
What Wren isn’t
No audience. No performance. No score.
- No feed
- No followers
- No likes
- No view counts
- No leaderboards
- No ads
- No trackers
Nobody can see how you’re doing but the one person who answers you. There’s nothing to doomscroll — letters arrive in the morning like the post, and that’s all.
The promise
Free to be heard, forever.
Writing, being heard, replying, deleting your words, taking a break, and every crisis resource are free — always. Membership is only ever for people who want to give more and carry a few small extras. We will never charge someone for being in a hard place.
Safety
Held with care.
Every letter and reply is screened before it’s delivered. If someone’s in crisis, Wren immediately shows real, human-run helplines — never AI, never behind a paywall or a wait. You can report, block, mute, or leave any conversation, any time.
Wren is peer support and a set of resources — a place to be heard by another human. It is not therapy, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional care. If you’re in danger, please contact your local emergency number. You must be 18 or older to use Wren.
