Delete your account & data
Wren is anonymous, and deleting your account is immediate, complete, and free — the same promise that runs through the whole app.
Delete everything, from inside the app
This is the fastest way and removes everything at once:
- Open Wren on your device.
- Go to the You tab (bottom-right).
- Scroll down and tap “Delete everything.”
- Confirm. Your account and all of its data are erased immediately.
If you’ve uninstalled the app
Because Wren is anonymous, we hold no name or email to look you up by (unless you added an optional recovery email). If you can’t reach the in-app button, email hello@wrenletters.com from the recovery address on your account, or with your Wren handle, and we’ll delete the account for you.
What gets deleted
Everything tied to your account, permanently: your anonymous account and handle, every letter and reply you’ve written, your threads, mood check-ins, kept items, settings, and any optional recovery email. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
What is kept
Nothing that identifies you. There is no retention period — your data is not held after deletion. Wren keeps no advertising or tracking data at any point, so there is nothing of that kind to retain.
